Dr. Kateryna Vostretsova, MD, FRCPC

MEET

A trusted Allergist in the Lower Mainland who sees both adult and pediatric patients with a wide range of allergic conditions. She works across healthcare authorities in both Providence Health Care and Vancouver Coastal Health to provide exceptional care and support.

Dr. Vostretsova is a comprehensive allergist and clinical Immunologist in the lower mainland seeing both adult and pediatric patients in her practice. She also provides virtual services for patients all over British Columbia. Her clinical interests include allergic rhinitis, food allergy, urticaria, anaphylaxis and also sees all types of general allergy referrals as well.

Dr. Kateryna Vostretsova moved to the Lower Mainland from Ukraine in 1995. She completed her undergraduate Bachelor of Science degree and Medical School at University of British Columbia. Following this, she completed 3-year residency program in Internal Medicine at UBC and subsequent 2-year fellowship in Allergy & Immunology.

Dr. Vostretsova is currently the Program Director for the Adult Allergy & Clinical Immunology fellowship program at University of British Columbia. She is passionate about teaching and mentors both residents and fellows in her clinic and at St. Pauls Hospital Rapid Access Clinic as a clinical instructor with University of British Columbia.

Dr. Vostretsova is a certified Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada ( FRCPC). She is also a member of the Canadian Society of Allergy and Clinical Immunology ( CSACI), American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology (AAAAI) and American College of Asthma, Allergy and Immunology ( ACAAI), and BC Society of Allergy & Immunology ( BCSAI). Her research interest includes quality improvement projects in the area of drug allergy delabeling.
